General Information

Dr. Wendy Batista Rodriguez was born and raised in Cuba. She comes from a family of physicians, and their humbleness and care for others inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare. Dr. Rodriguez earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Touro College of Dental Medicine at New York Medical College. She completed her general practice residency program at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, New York. During dental school, Dr. Rodriguez gave back to the community by volunteering at Remote Area Medical in Memphis, TN treating the underserved population. She also volunteered at Camp Smith, treating over 700 soldiers. Dr. Rodriguez views dentistry as a very rewarding and fulfilling profession. From her perspective, she does not change her patients’ lives. Instead, they transform hers and challenge her skills and intellect every day. She loves traveling and exploring different cultures. She is obsessed with the beach—it’s her favorite place in the world. She also helps the Miami stray cat community by trapping them and getting them spayed/neutered, and this is how she adopted her cat, Tuxi. She and Tuxi have been together for six years now.
