Texas Sporting Breed Rescue, Inc.(TSBR  provides for the welfare, shelter and adoption of lost, abandoned, neglected, or homeless dogs and puppies, specifically; all 28 of the American Kennel Club (AKC) defined sporting group breeds – Retrievers; like Labrador Retrievers and Golden Retrievers, Setters; like Irish Setters, Pointers; like German Shorthaired Pointers, Spaniels; like English Springer Spaniels, Vizlas, Weimaraners, and Spinone Italianos;  We promote the responsible care of companion animals, spaying and neutering as the most humane means of animal control, heartworm education and treatment; and we provide training and education to the public on various topics such as: animal welfare, responsible dog ownership and breed information.
