General Information

Dr. Agarwal is Clinical Professor and Director of Fertility Services in the UC San Diego Department of Reproductive Medicine. He is also Director of the innovative UC San Diego Center for Endometriosis Research and Treatment (CERT, www.cert.ucsd.edu). Dr. Agarwal graduated from St. George's Hospital in the University of London, UK and then made his transition to America to complete an Ob-Gyn residency at Duke University. Following this, he went on to complete a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Following the fellowship, Dr. Agarwal was on the faculty at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for eight years where he was the Director of the Center for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Agarwal moved UC San Diego in 2003.Dr. Agarwal is widely known for his research on endometriosis, which has focused on improving therapeutic options for women with this debilitating disease. Because of his expertise, he has been an invited speaker both nationally and internationally. Daniel Synkowski, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist who sees adult patients with general dermatology needs and performs minor surgery.As an associate professor at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Synkowski trains residents and medical students in clinical dermatology. He earned his medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. He is board-certified in dermatology.
