General Information

Dr. Moody McCall purchased San Pablo Animal Hospital in 1989 as a solo practice. The hospital was originally housed near the intersection of Atlantic Blvd. and San Pablo Road. When Atlantic Blvd. was widened, Dr. McCall moved down the street and built a new hospital in 1997. The hospital now has room for additional veterinary services, boarding, grooming, a pharmacy, surgery suite, retail items, a play area for your children, boarding and grooming for your pets, and room for additional doctors. Dr. Heidi Chupp joined the practice in 2001. Dr. Ana Mayoral joined in 2016. We at San Pablo Animal Hospital take pride in our relationships with our clients. People say we have the most compassionate doctors anywhere! Our clients enjoy the relationships they form with our staff. We offer quality, compassionate veterinary care with a personal touch. Our motto is "Happy, Healthy, Pets for a Lifetime." Dr. Moody McCall is also proud to be on the Board of Directors of Canine Companions for Independence , which provides highly-trained assistance dogs, free of charge, for children and adults with disabilities. Dr. McCall, along with his wife, Eugenia, have raised and trained many puppies for this program.
