Dr. Jim Humphries has been a veterinarian for 35 years and has owned and operated a very successful house call practice in Dallas Texas. He is also well known in the media having served as the veterinarian on CBS The Early show for 12 years, and a regular contributor to CNN, Animal Planet and many other major media. He is also the founder of the Veterinary News Network and the American Society of Veterinary Journalists. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the famed College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. This broad experience and a real passion for personal veterinary care, has created a unique a very unique and personal practice that fills a need in our area. We are often called upon to offer a second opinion and formulate new ideas for chronic pain, heart disease, and many other frustrating medical cases. It takes a veterinarian who is willing to take the time to look at all possibilities to design treatments and other therapies that can be of real value. We believe that "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but even a bit of hope is like a tree of life"! One area of special interest is dentistry. We've invested heavily in education and technology to provide the best dentisty and oral surgery we can.
