Local Foods Kitchen has evolved with the help of family and friends supporting Chef/ Owner Katie Schma to create a kitchen that cooks and serves food encompassing the knowledge and experience she has gained through years in the food and hospitality industry. As a kitchen in progress, Local Foods Kitchen is focused on developing small-batch soup, salads, sides, sweets, sandwiches and entrees, using the freshest local and regional ingredients, as well as Certified Humane Raised & Handled® lamb, beef and poultry. Katie draws inspiration from the flavors of her past and revitalizes them with the highest quality, farm-raised and seasonal ingredients. Katie has been involved with restaurants, catering and cooking food for others all of her life.
