Jesse Kane, MD, is an assistant professor in UF College of Medicine'??s department of obstetrics and gynecology. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a certified menopause provider by the North American Menopause Society.Dr. Kane received his graduate degree in biology from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, before attending medical school at Temple University School of Medicine Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kane then made the move to Florida to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.Prior to coming to UF, Dr. Kane had a long career in private practice of general obstetrics and gynecology, having practiced in urban and rural areas of Florida, Georgia and Arkansas. He belongs to several professional organizations, including the North American Menopause Society, the International Society for the Study of Women'??s Sexual Health and the Florida Medical Association. He is also a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.Dr. Kane has a special interest in menopause treatment, female sexual problems, high-risk obstetrics, laparoscopy/hysteroscopy, colposcopy and vaginal surgery.
