Dr. Chaychi earned her medical degree from Azad University Tehran, Iran. After relocating to the united states she completed her post-graduate training at Yale School of Medicine in Connecticut and received her fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism from Dartmouth Collage/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical School in New Hampshire. Dr.Chaychi is certified by American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Endocrinology and Metabolism and clinical nutrition, certified in thyroid biopsies and bone densitometry and she is licensed to practice medicine in CA and FL. Dr.Chaychi accepted a faculty academic position as assistant professor at University Of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Florida and served as faculty for three years. She has received number of grants for clinical research both as fellow and faculty. She relocated to CA by end of 2013 and since then owns her own medical practice and supervises many clinical research trials. She serves as Primary Investigator in the clinical trials. She practices General Clinical Endocrinology with focuses on Diabetes, Thyroid, Obesity and Metabolism as well as Metabolic Bone Disease. Dr. Chaychi has been consulting for number of bio-phramas for new breakthrough treatment developments in the field of diabetes, metabolism, obesity as well as other endocrine and metabolism related issues such as cushing’s disease and cushing’s syndrome. She has been helping in developing new devices to help manage Diabetes. Her professional Memberships are numerous and include the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist ( AACE), she is also a Fellow of American College of Endocrinology and Endocrine Society. In addition to all the contributions above Dr. Chaychi sits on the Editorial Board of the Endocrinology and Metabolic Syndrome and is a reviewer of Annals of AACE. Lastly results of Dr. Chaychi’s research has been published on valuable medical Journals and she has contributed significantly to the medical literature.
