Our Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator is: Stephen Frederick Alexander, Esq. He is available to mediate for you in the Greater Tampa Bay area, including Pinellas County, Hillsborough County and Manatee County. He will serve as your family mediator at your lawyer/attorney's office in the State of Florida in the cities that follow: Tampa, St Petersburg, Clearwater, Bradenton, Largo, Dunedin, Temple Terrace, Brandon, Palm Harbor, Plant City, Oldsmar, Tarpon Springs, Pinellas Park, Gulfport, Madiera Beach, Riverview, Sun City Center, Seminole, Treasure Island, Valrico, Ruskin, Apollo Beach, Gibsonton, St Pete Beach, Indian Shores, Indian Rocks Beach, Bellaire Beach, Bellaire, Safety Harbor, Lutz, Thonotosassa, Dover, Mango, Lithia, Wimauma, and Parrish. He also has space avaiable to mediate your case in Pinellas Park located near both I-275 and US 19 N. As a family mediator, he will confidentially meet with husbands and wives, who are entering into the divorce process, already involved in the divorce process, or already divorced but still with unresolved post-divorce issues. As a family mediator, he will provide you an impartial voice to aid you to resolve matters such as: Access Schedules with Children Parenting Plans Child Support Health, Dental and Life Insurance for dependent Children or Spouses Alimony Equitable Distribution of Property Modifications of Final Orders Contempt and Enforcement of Final Orders You can choose to attend family mediation with or without an attorney. In either circumstance, he will meet with you on an informal basis where open communication is encouraged and agreement on your issues remains his goal. As a family mediator, he is not an advocate for either party or for a particular position. Instead, his role is as an impartial participant. He will remind and encourage each of you that the final decision making process and the outcome belongs to you. This is especially important as you work together towards developing an agreement that will play a major role in your lives, often for many years in the future. Although he does not provide legal advice in the mediation process, he does provide guidance with the aim of helping you create and draft agreements that are acceptable to both of you. Mediation, which is almost always ordered by family court judges to provide you an opportunity to resolve difficult matters yourselves before the judge decides them for you. Your whole family benefits, financially and emotionally, when you are able to resolve your family's issues in a manner agreeable to both of you.
