General Information

Dr. Alexis Stephens is a Board Certified Dermatologist with expertise in pediatric and adult medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, laser, and cosmetic procedures. With the completion of a fellowship in skin cancer, dermoscopy, and confocal microscopy, Dr. Stephens has specialized training in the evaluation of pigmented skin lesions. Alexis Stephens, D.O. provides patients with the latest technology and expertise in the field of skin cancer where she has a specific interest in patients with skin of color, having lectured at national and international conferences on concerns specific to skin of color. Dr. Stephens received her medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, fellowship training in pigmented lesions in Plantation, Florida and her dermatology training at Nova Southeastern University where she also served as chief resident and was awarded resident of the year. Dr. Alexis Stephens founded Parkland Dermatology with the desire to create a welcoming, caring environment for patients that focuses on quality of care foremost with the overall goal of empowering patients with knowledge and the correct individualized treatment plan to take their skin health to the next level.
