General Information

Dolphin Key Resort is a a retro Motel style Hotel originally built in 1968. I bought it in 2011 and started renovating it right away. The outside of the hotel looks just like it did in 1968 again, but the in side is done in in a Scandinavian Boutique style. Our beautiful pool is 85"F year round, we have bicycles for rent, and Florida is flat, so it's great to bike here. On site we also have the biggest Tiki Bar under one roof in the world. Fun tropical drinks and live entertainment every night. Mostly known for the best Bands in Town on weekends. We are located one block from Down Town Cape Coral, with 35 bars and restaurants to enjoy. You can also go visit the Wicked Dolphin Rum distillery and see how rum is made or go fishing of the pier at the yacht club beach, or enjoy the beach. If you want to shop visit Miramar outlets 45 min from the resort or walk around town and visit the local stores. A drive to Pine Island is strongly recommended if you want to see the genuine real Florida Gulf Coast life. For more serene nature visit Sanibel and Captiva Island. Accommodations are expensive there, so it might be smart to visit, but not to stay there.
