General Information

Dr. Diana S. Hellman, MD, completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency Training in 2009 at Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Pediatric Residency Program in Corpus Christi, Texas. Prior to that she worked at a Health Company where she managed the preventive health programs including the immunization program. During the same time, she worked at a full-service, Health Center, as an Urgent Care and General Physician. Dr. Hellman’s interest in the care of ill children led to her employment at a Hospital where she worked as an Emergency Physician. After residency she worked for several years as a General Pediatrician. Due to her desire to continue to grow and to learn more, she advanced her career through a Pediatric Endocrinology Subspecialty and finished her fellowship at the Oklahoma University - Health Science Center in 2020. She thrives in the relationships she develops with all her patients and their families. She enjoys greatly following her patient’s growth into adolescence and then help them transition into adulthood. She is very excited to be starting her practice in the West Houston area. Dr. Diana S. Amaya Hellman, M.D. Is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology Subspecialty. She is licensed by the Texas State and the Oklahoma State Medical Boards. Dr. Hellman is a member of the Harris County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association, the largest county and state medical associations in the nation, committed to improving health for all Texans.
