General Information

Since opening our doors in February of 2006 Dermacare has been providing local clientele with the most comprehensive care for skin rejuvenation. The high-tech equipment and products at our clinic are, as one client put it, "as exciting as a day at Disney's EPCOT." To guide you around the office are our amazing staff members, who refer to themselves and our clients as "family". This welcoming and joyful attitude is apparent from the minute you walk through the door. The clinicians and staff at Dermacare truly make a difference in people's lives, not only in the clinic, but in the community as well by Dermacare's unique philanthropic efforts. The DermacareCARES program was originally created in 2006 to extend specialized acne treatment services, at no charge, to teens in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. The DermacareCARES program over the past years has also provided tens of thousands of dollars worth of services, products, and monetary donations to local charitable organizations including The American Heart Association, The Boys and Girls Club, STOP Children's Cancer, Life South Community Blood Centers, Haile's Angels Pet Rescue, Oak Hall School, and Cornerstone Academy, to name just a few. Over the past year DermacareCARES has adopted an additional focus--providing funding and supplies for medical mission outreach programs in the Dominican Republic. In April of 2008 and 2009, DermacareCARES provided the necessary funding to send four individuals to the Dominican Republic for one-week. Under the direction and guidance of Missionary Ventures International, Dr. Diane Sabado, Dr. Francisco Sabado, and The First United Methodist Church of Alachua a team of hardworking, dedicated folks provided medical care to hundreds of villagers in the poorest areas of the Dominican Republic. My husband, Phil, and I feel so blessed to have a staff who not only care deeply about each other and their clients, but also care about other people who are in need locally and internationally, and choose to "give back".
