DART, also known as Dallas Area Rapid Transit, is a modern public transportation provider that serves the counties of Ellis, Collin, Dallas, Denton, Kaufman, Rockwall and Tarrant in Texas. It operates a bus system that ply in more than 100 routes and a commuter train service known as Trinity Railway Express that connects the downtown areas of Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas. DART s curb-to-curb van service offers transportation services to rail stations, grocery stores and shopping and bus transit centers. Its paratransit division operates a fleet of accessible vehicles that offers transportation services to people with disabilities. The service provider also offers general mobility programs and operates a network of high occupancy vehicle lanes.
