General Information

At Country Club Pet Hospital we are proud to provide full service veterinary medical and surgical care for your pets. Client education is of paramount importance to us and we spend the time necessary to educate owners about their pets needs whether it be a dog, cat, or exotic patient. Having proper knowledge about behavior, nutrition, and husbandry go a long way towards providing the highest quality of life for your pet. Believe it or not, we want to minimize our services by providing ample education and equipping the owner to make good decisions!

We provide digital body and dental X-Ray technology, ultrasound capabilities, and have a full service internal lab for evaluating blood chemistries, parasite examinations, and urinalysis.

We provide dental services based on the degree of disease found through digital X-rays, and have a number of different options for home dental care available. We have specialized dental equipment to deal with the difficulty in providing proper care for guinea pigs and rabbits as well.

Our surgical cases are afforded multi-modal pain management techniques to optimize comfort and recovery, and are monitored throughout their procedures with computer assisted technology capable of checking blood pressure, EKG, pulse oximetry, respiratory rate, and body temperature. A number of different modalities of pain management are utilized depending on the case and include the use of epidural nerve blocks when necessary.

We also provide cold laser therapy for those cases that can benefit including joint pain from acute injury or chronic disease (e.g. arthritis) and soft tissue damage such as chronic ear disease, anal sac infections, and hot spots.

Vaccinations are given according to the risk assessment and exposure for the individual pet. Core vaccines are administered as needed. Both flu vaccines (H3N2 & H3N8) and the rattlesnake vaccine are available for select cases. Boarding services are available for our own patients to minimize risk from having open boarding services. Open yards are available for the dogs to get outside time and play.

• CCPH provides medical and surgical care of dogs, cats, reptiles, ferrets, guinea pigs, and rabbits. This includes internal medicine diagnostic modalities like digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a full service in house lab. When surgery is necessary, advanced patient monitoring is performed and multi-modal anesthetic protocols are individualized for the patient and case. Client education regarding preventive care, behavior, nutrition, and husbandry is extremely important to us and we spend the time necessary to educate.

Country Club Pet Hospital is located approximately 6 miles south of I-20 on Matlock Rd in Mansfield. We are close to the corner of Country Club road and Matlock Rd., just north of the CVS pharmacy.
