Opened in 1997, Bowman Foster Ashe Elementary School educates more than 1,300 students in prekindergarten through grade five and provides several before- and after-school programs. Bowman Foster Ashe Elementary School manages a parent-teacher association that conducts regular meetings and organizes various events and activities for the overall development of the school. The elementary school s counselor serves as a resource for students, parents and staff and provides consultation, individual and group counseling, developmental lessons and coordinating services. Based in Miami, Bowman Foster Ashe Elementary School has a media center that provides a collection of materials for direct classroom instruction, as well as for professional staff development.
